Men of Promise
God has given us a burden to see men get closer together in Christ as true Brothers should be. Having someone there for us in a time of need is so essential in life.

On the second Saturday of every month we have our Men's breakfast. It's free and all men are welcome. First we have a time of fellowship by sitting down and eating a great breakfast together. This way we get to know each other better. It's a time of sharing what's on our hearts and getting feedback from our brothers in Christ.

After we have our physical food we turn to our spiritual coarse. We have a different speaker each month and it's always exciting to hear what God has to say through them. Sometimes it's a testimony of someone's life and other times it's a message placed on someone's heart. The message is always a challenge from God for us to build our lives up to be better men for the Kingdom. So, as you can see, it's good eatin' too.

We also get together from time to time and have a "Work Day". These times we have together we "get down in the trenches" with each other. We create some real "war stories", learn more of each other, and have fun. We believe that God's house should look better than our own. So, keeping it up is one of our goals.

And that's what we're all about. Taking our positions as men in Christ and building up each other, our families, and our ministries.

The History of the Men Of Promise
Our men's group started November 11th of 1995 with 8 men. We have now grown to an average of 20 men. We've learned a lot through the years (including how to cook.) We have a lot of fun, fellowship, good eatin', and most of all we hear what God has to say to us and we've grown closer as brothers in Christ. Thank you Lord for your favor.
